SUMMARY:Oral Advocacy vs. Written Advocacy: Synergizing the Two to Maximize Your Legal Practice
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a webinar designed to merge two advocacy skills. This Masterclass will discuss the intersection between oral advocacy and legal writing. We will empower the audience to overcome the stigma of “being only a good orator or writer” by highlighting the parallel between legal writing and oral advocacy. We will challenge the audience to improve the area they are uncomfortable with by using the tools they are most comfortable with\, such as oral advocacy to complement your legal writing (and vice versa). This program is geared towards litigators of all experience levels. \nSpeakers\n\nJim Layton\, Attorney At Law/Of Counsel\, Tueth Keeney Cooper Mohan Jackstadt P.C.\, Formerly served 22 years in the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.\nKeli Neary\, Executive Deputy Attorney General\, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office\n\nModerator\n\nTierrel “TJ” Mathis\, Senior Counsel\, National Association of Attorneys General\n\n\nRegistration ends Wednesday\, June 5 at 8:00 a.m. ET.\n\nContinuing Legal Education (CLE)\nFor attendees participating in the live virtual event\, NAAG will apply for CLE per accrediting body guidelines upon request.
